Quran Scroller is an iOS app for reading the Quran. Reading the Quran in the app is free. Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks Deep Study on every passage, all reading plans and every translation.

Prices below are United States prices. Apple sets the equivalent price in other regions.

Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You manage and cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions on your device — not in the app, because Apple, not us, holds the subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the period you have already paid for runs out.
Where a free trial is offered it is one per customer per subscription group. If you buy a subscription during a trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited. Cancelling before the trial ends means you are not charged.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue a refund ourselves — we never receive your payment details.
The content in the app
The Arabic is the Tanzil Project’s Uthmani text, used under CC BY 3.0. The English translations are ClearQuran by Talal Itani (CC BY-ND 4.0), Saheeh International and Ruwwad (via QuranEnc.com, under their terms) and Marmaduke Pickthall (public domain). Where a licence requires it, the text is reproduced unmodified. Every translation shows its translator and licence inside the app.
The Deep Study commentary is AI-assisted: drafted with AI drawing on the classical works of tafsir and reviewed before it shipped. It is study material offered in good faith — not a fatwa, not religious advice and not a substitute for a qualified scholar. You use it on that understanding.
You may read, quote and share verses from the app for personal and educational use, as the underlying licences allow. You may not extract the bundled data sets to build a competing product, redistribute the app’s study commentary as your own work, or remove the attributions the licences require.
Giving
The Community tab lets you cast a non-binding vote for which charity a share of subscription revenue goes to, and links to each organisation’s own website. No money moves through the app, no donation is collected from you, and a vote is not a pledge.
Your data
The app collects nothing. Everything it stores stays on your device. See the privacy policy.
No warranty, and the limits of our liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the “last updated” date above changes with them. A change that affects an active subscription will not be applied retroactively to the period you have already paid for.
